Equine Services

We have a team of highly experienced and knowledgeable equine vets at Kenwyn, and we offer a wide variety of services for equine clients as well as a 24 hour emergency service, with one of the practice’s vets, 365 days a year.

We provide care for all types of horses, from racehorses and competition horses, hunters, jumpers and ponies, as well as family pets.

Most of the services we perform can be done at the stable or field, but some procedures and situations may require the horse to come into the practice.

The practice is fully equipped to able to provide in-patient treatment and care. We have the ability to stable up to 4 horses at any time, including overnight facilities, grass paddock, feeding and dedicated nursing care.

At the practice there is a sand school which can be used for lameness investigations, and a padded drop down box for advanced surgical procedures.

Additionally horses can be brought into the practice and safely unloaded from trailers and Lorries in the large fully fenced sand school, and we can also provide help in unloading if required.
